Jane Trotter

Jane Trotter graduated from Otago University, Dunedin, New Zealand, with a B.A. in English, a bachelor's degree in piano performance and a post-graduate diploma. In 1991 she completed her LTCL performer's diploma, and in 1996 was awarded a Royal School of Music Centenary Travel Grant Scholarship, with which she traveled to London and studied at the Royal College of Music, where she gained her LRSM teaching diploma. Jane has extensive experience as a private piano teacher in her studio and in local schools and has instructed students of various ages. Keenly involved in Dunedin's music environment, Jane has adjudicated local competitions, teaches beginning recorder and clarinet with the Sunday Morning Music Classes and is an active member of the Institute of Registered Music Teachers of New Zealand.
